NTT DOCOMO Ventures Invests in Fogg, Inc., Operator of the Online Lottery Platform “RAFFLE”

　NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Jun Yasumoto; hereinafter, “NDV”) is pleased to announce that, through a fund that it manages, it has invested in Fogg, Inc., (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Yusuke Sekine; hereinafter “Fogg”), which operates an online lottery platform and audition platform.

　Fogg provides RAFFLE, a no-lose online raffle service that allows users to win original merchandise and content from idols, sports teams, and other groups and individuals. Since its launch in June 2021, it has hosted a cumulative total of over 800 of the largest online raffle events in Japan.
　In addition to “RAFFLE,” the company also offers “CHEERZ,” an audition platform that takes the form of a fan community service in which users can support artists and models. As the practice of fan activities to support one’s favorite idols, actors, characters, etc. continues to grow, Fogg is developing various platform businesses to support these activities.

　NTT DOCOMO Group is enhancing its presence in the content and entertainment businesses, and is promoting fan marketing* that capitalizes on intellectual property (IP). NDV has taken a lead position in this investment in anticipation of future co-creation with Fogg, which has been involved in the content business for a considerable period of time and has relationships with and knowledge of numerous IPs. This investment will serve as an opportunity for Fogg and the NTT DOCOMO Group to strengthen their collaboration and create new value in fan marketing.
