NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President & CEO: Minoru Etoh) today announced its investment, through the investment fund it operates, in Kaizen Platform, Inc. (headquartered in California, U.S.A.; Co-founder & CEO: Kenji Sudo), which operates the “Kaizen Platform,” a platform to easily improve the user interface (“UI”) on websites.

1.Overview of the investment

NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc., through the investment fund it operates, has completed the investment by joining the funding round for Kaizen Platform, Inc.

2.Background

Kaizen Platform, Inc. develops and provides the “Kaizen Platform,” which consists of online tools to optimize websites and the networks of growth hackers who have sophisticated skills to continuously devise improvement plans for UI.

In the current internet business, all management indexes including purchase, booking, up-selling, grade-up to periodic purchase, prevention of cancellation, an improved circulation and an increased length of stay rest with user experience (customers’ experience) on websites. The Kaizen Platform enables each of the companies that develop internet business to improve the user experience on websites, which can finally lead to a great improvement in management indexes.
