NTT DOCOMO Ventures Invests in tacoms, Inc., provider of the Camel Series, Online Ordering and Delivery Business Support for Restaurants

　NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Jun Yasumoto; hereinafter, “NDV”) is pleased to announce that, through a fund that it manages, it has invested in tacoms, Inc. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Seita Miyamoto ; hereinafter “tacoms”), provider of the Camel series, online ordering and delivery business support SaaS for the food and beverage industry.

　Camel, a centralized delivery order management service provided by tacoms, allows restaurants to accept orders from all delivery and takeout services they work with on a single tablet. It simplifies the series of operations required for delivery operations on the store side, reducing management overheads and maximizing sales without complicating operations when adding a new delivery service.
　In addition, in November 2024, tacoms officially launched Camel Order, which enables restaurants to launch their own delivery and takeout ordering sites, and announced the promotion of a multi-product strategy with the Camel series^*1. In the future, the company aims to further expand its business areas, including support for online ordering and customer relationship management (CRM).

　The NTT DOCOMO Group provides sales promotion and marketing support for member stores using d POINTs and d-Barai , and is strengthening marketing support using d POINTs as a medium for restaurants, which have many daily points of contact with consumers.
　We aim to create future business synergies in this field by enhancing collaboration between tacoms, which possesses a strong asset and customer base for restaurants, and the NTT DOCOMO Group, mainly in the area of delivery and takeout.
