NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan; President & CEO: Minoru Etoh) announced today its investment in Influitive Corporation (headquartered in Toronto, Canada; CEO: Mark Organ, hereinafter referred to as “Influitive”), a company making it easier for B2B marketers to recruit, mobilize marketing campaigns, refer new clients, and close deals.
NTT DOCOMO Ventures, through the investment fund it operates, acquired shares of Influitive through a third-party allocation conducted by Influitive.
Influtive offers an advocate marketing platform that analyzes data around social media, influencer networks, and other peer-to-peer technologies to spread brand awareness. In their platform, the existing customers of a client company become evangelists and introduce new potential customers to the client company by utilizing social networks and peer-to-peer networks. Influitive’s clients can find new potential customers efficiently and cost effectively compared to traditional marketing methods.
